Painted by my main man Borovikovsky.

The painting is of the young Mary Ivanovna Lopukhina, formerly Tolstaya, born in 1779. This portrait was commissioned by the lady’s husband due to their marriage. She was 18 years old when she was painted in 1797. Unfortunately she died 6 years later because of tuberculosis

Just look at how sassy pants she is. and adorable.
